The Pituitary Society is dedicated to furthering the understanding of diseases of the pituitary gland. Its members are scientists and doctors from all over the world whose major interest is in pituitary diseases.
A major focus of The Pituitary Society is to provide general, authoritative information on how the pituitary gland functions, specific pituitary diseases and disorders, and the various treatments available.
The Pituitary Society sponsors educational conferences highlighting new advances in research and clinical care. It honors outstanding contributions to research and formulates clinical practice guidelines for medical providers.
Pituitary Society's Mission:
Endeavor to improve the health of individuals with pituitary disorders through scientific and educational programs for patients, their families, medical students, scientists and physicians, to encourage the development of research programs to study the biology of the pituitary and the etiology, diagnosis, pathophysiology and treatment of pituitary disease.
