What is Endocrinology?
Endocrinology is the study of the endocrine system (the endocrine glands that produce and secrete hormones inside the body) and the diagnosis and treatment of endocrine and metabolic (pertaining to the metabolism) disorders and diseases.
An Endocrinologist is a doctor who specializes in diagnosing and treating endocrine and metabolic disorders and diseases of the endocrine system.
Endocrinologists take care of many conditions including:

- Thyroid disease
- Menopause
- Pituitary disorders
- Metabolic disorders
- Sexual dysfunction
- Sex hormone disorders
